In 2011, Chastain gained wide public recognition for her starring roles in seven film releases; for her performance in The Help she received Best Supporting Actress nominations at the Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Screen Actors Guild Award ceremonies. In 2012, Time magazine featured her as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World".

She may not have won an Oscar, but Jessica Chastain still had a pretty impressive start to 2013. The Zero Dark Thirty actress nabbed a Golden Globe Award and even appeared on Broadway in The Heiress as she delighted the fashion faithful in a variety of fantastic street style ensembles.

"She chose the copper shade...which worked so beautifully with her coloring," Jessica's stylist Elizabeth Stewart tells Life & Style. "She's very involved in all decisions."

Jessica Chastain is a cinematic chameleon. She won a Golden Globe and received an Oscar nomination as the intense CIA analyst tracking Osama bin Laden in “Zero Dark Thirty,” a woman worlds away from the ditzy Southern wife she played in “The Help” a year earlier.

“She has a face that is classically elegant and eminently malleable,” wrote The Observer’s Andrew Gumbel. “She fits right into the contemporary world, but can just as easily hark back to an older era of silver-screen elegance or impeccable Edwardian manners. She can be torrid, frosty, garrulous or painfully shy, with equal conviction.”

We're pretty positive there will be more award show red carpets in Jessica's future and can't wait to see what she'll wear the next time she's nominated.

Red Carpet Fashion Styles in 2013 Oscars

Oscar dresses of 2013
The expected 2013 Oscars has more than met our expectations, or rather, the stunning dresses that showed off our celebrities. An outstanding red carpet to the delight of all lovers of haute couture and the best cinema.
A trend that has prevailed in this 85 edition was the sleeveless honor. Definitely one of the winners of a great night. Want to know the rest? Get ready because we started. This is Hollywood!

Strapless neckline, the big winner

Unsurprisingly, Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway got the awards for Best Leading Actress and secondary, respectively. Two great actresses and two stroke looks. Jennifer Lawrence chose a spectacular design for Christian Dior paraded on the red carpet, while Anne Hathaway wore a Prada dress, which was also the most talked.

Jessica Chastain, who left empty, opted for a very vintage styling and an Armani Privé gown.Amy Adams was one of our favorites with a design by Oscar de la Renta. Armani Privé also was Naomi Watts, with a metallic dress asymmetrical neckline. Wonderful!

Warm colors and metallic dresses

We also liked the dress of actress Zoe Saldana, signed by Alexis Mabille. Again the trend is repeated protagonist of the Oscar 2013, ie, the strapless neckline. Charlize Theron surprised everyone with a haircut the garçon-punk and a white dress by Christian Dior. Spectacular as always.

Actress Kristen Stewart took the stage to present several awards, and did so with a very elegant design signed by Reem Acra. While Nicole Kidman again gave a lesson in style in a dress fromL'Wren Scott pailletes.
Nor do we want to forget Amanda Seyfried and her gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress, one of her favorite designers. And one of the great queens of the red carpet was Halle Berry with Versace in metallic shades and stripe print. Divine!
You know our opinion, now is your tuno: What dress do you like better?
