The White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) is an organization of journalists who cover the White House and the President of the United States. The WHCA was founded on Feb 25, 1914 by journalists in response to an unfounded rumor that a Congressional committee would select which journalists could attend press conferences of President Woodrow Wilson.
The WHCA operates independently of the White House. Among the more notable issues handled by the WHCA are the credentialing process, access to the President and physical conditions in the White House press briefing rooms.

The 26-year-old actress got a kiss from co-star Charlie Sheen in front of photographers, then told reporters on the arrivals line: "I'm taking care of myself."
After striking a plea deal in her most recent court case, the troubled actress is set to report to three months of locked rehab next month. She arrived about 20 minutes after the scheduled start of Thursday night's premiere screening.
Lohan appeared to blame her tardiness on a dress mix-up and smiled when fans chanted her name."Are they chanting? That's crazy. That's insane. It's like Brazil again. But yeah, my dress was left in New York. But it's fine."
She appears in one brief segment in the film playing herself alongside Sheen, but promoted it this week in an interview with "Late Show" host David Letterman, who pressed her about rehab.

She may not have won an Oscar, but Jessica Chastain still had a pretty impressive start to 2013. The Zero Dark Thirty actress nabbed a Golden Globe Award and even appeared on Broadway in The Heiress as she delighted the fashion faithful in a variety of fantastic street style ensembles.

Jessica Chastain 2012 Golden Globe Red Carpet

Jessica Chastain is a cinematic chameleon. She won a Golden Globe and received an Oscar nomination as the intense CIA analyst tracking Osama bin Laden in “Zero Dark Thirty,” a woman worlds away from the ditzy Southern wife she played in “The Help” a year earlier.

“She has a face that is classically elegant and eminently malleable,” wrote The Observer’s Andrew Gumbel. “She fits right into the contemporary world, but can just as easily hark back to an older era of silver-screen elegance or impeccable Edwardian manners. She can be torrid, frosty, garrulous or painfully shy, with equal conviction.”

We're pretty positive there will be more award show red carpets in Jessica's future and can't wait to see what she'll wear the next time she's nominated.

As we looked forward to the red carpet dresses! And since the Oscar had not lived any parade of celebrities that deserve as much punishment that took place this weekend. We are talking about the Kid's Choice Awards 2013, organized every year awards the Nickelodeon channel and has already reached the 26th issue.

For this red carpet, rather, purple carpet, located in the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, marched many familiar faces, as Kristen Stewart, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry or Jessica Alba. Always marked by casual and youthful character, this time was characterized by short dresses and shorts. Want to know who were the most beautiful famous party? Here's what we have!

Jessica Alba, Kristen Stewart and Katy Perry

Jessica Alba, for example, wore a print dress Mary Katranzou combined with a classic tie shoes Christian Louboutin. Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart opted for a set of shorts and top by Oscar de la Renta, Gucci sandals. Of course, one look quite right for the occasion. Nor do we forget about Katy Perry, who has embraced fashion combined crop top with a pencil skirt by Herve Leger.

Selena Gomez, Kloe Kardashian and K esha
The best dressed of the Kids' Choice Awards
Among the best dressed also find Selena Gomez, who opted for a delicate strapless corset cut in light blue and Péplum style that contrasted perfectly with white shorts Oscar de la Renta. We were also surprised Kloe Kardashian, who attended the gala clad in a short white dress that accentuated her curves in the best way. And although it was the best dressed of the awards, we want to highlight the outfit chosen by Kesha, always true to transgressor. The singer did not want to show leg and chose a blue suit jacket, vest and bow tie included, of course, caught my attention.

The simple lines and flattering silhouette were masterful. Rosario Dawson, on the other hand, was anything but minimal in a rich red sequined Jenny Packham gown at the London screening of Trance. All eyes were on her megawatt smile and that mesmerizing dress.
